Grief and trauma can enter our life hand in hand and come to us with unimaginable pain.
Although our loss doesn’t go away, we can learn how to make space for a new way of being in the world. We can bravely open our hearts once more and embrace the idea that pain is indeed our greatest teacher.
Making space to heal and listen to the body is helpful. I didn’t say easy! Grief and trauma work is hard work cause it hurts. But, bit by bit, we can learn to widen our window of discomfort, honor or loss and rebuild our life.
Personally, I have found nature is there to support and nurture me in the most surprising ways.
